The Orient Express World

Orient Express currently operates two hotels in Italy. Both carry the same exacting standard. Each one is entirely unlike the other.
Piazza della Minerva · Rome
A restored 17th-century palazzo steps from the Pantheon — Rome's quietest square, where Bernini's elephant still stands in the evening light. Art Deco layered over ancient stone. Steamer trunk bedside tables. A rooftop restaurant that looks directly over the Pantheon. The kind of view that makes dinner last four hours. Deliberately.

Palazzo Donà Giovannelli · Cannaregio, Venice
In the quieter Cannaregio — the quarter where Venice still belongs to itself — a 15th-century palazzo once belonging to the Duke of Urbino. Restored frescoes. Murano chandeliers. Marble fireplaces. And the Wagon Bar: an art deco aperitivo lounge that is a direct, unhurried tribute to the golden age of the original 1883 train. Dining at Heinz Beck Venezia arrives by boat.

The Grand Italian Tours trace Italy's most cinematic landscapes by rail — vineyards, coastlines, hill towns — arriving in the cities where Orient Express Hotels await. This is how the full journey begins.

Only Orient Express allows you to step off a legendary train into a palace hotel, and then sail the Mediterranean aboard the world's largest sailing yacht — all under one name, one philosophy, and one standard of care. Sirena Collective can arrange all three.
Rail
Board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express in Paris and arrive in Venice the following morning — unhurried, restored, exactly as travelers did in 1883. La Dolce Vita Orient Express traces Italy's most cinematic landscapes by rail. The train is where the story began.

Step off the platform and into a palazzo. La Minerva in Rome opens its rooftop over the Pantheon. Venezia anchors itself in a 15th-century Cannaregio palace. The Wagon Bar awaits in both — a direct line back to the golden age of the original journey.

The Orient Express Corinthian is the world's largest sailing yacht — 54 suites, built at Chantiers de l'Atlantique, sailing the Mediterranean. The movie theater seats are exact replicas of those from the 1910 train. The legend, now on water.

Most agencies can book a cruise, or a hotel, or a train. Very few can connect all three into a single, continuous journey — with advisor-level access at each stage and someone who knows the properties personally overseeing the whole.
Through Sirena Collective, you can board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express in Paris, step into Orient Express Venezia for four nights in the city, and then sail the Mediterranean on the Corinthian without a single logistical concern. Tell us the experience you want. We will build the journey around it.

"The guests who understand Orient Express are the ones who are never in a hurry."
Whether you have a specific property in mind, want to pair the hotel with the train or the yacht, or simply know you want Italy done at an entirely different pace — we start with a conversation, not a form. Tell us what kind of experience you're looking for. We'll take it from there.
No booking fees. No obligation. Always complimentary.
A property, a city, a length of stay — or simply a feeling you're chasing. Rome or Venice? Hotel only, or rail and yacht too? That conversation is exactly where we begin.
We confirm availability, apply your advisor recognition at the time of booking, and coordinate any multi-leg journey — rail, hotel, yacht, or all three. Every preference communicated to the property before you arrive.
Full confirmation in writing. The property knows who you are and what your stay should feel like — before your departure date is even close.
We remain available from departure through return — not as an emergency line, but as the partners who know your journey inside out. Slow travel, expertly held.

Two are currently open worldwide. Orient Express La Minerva opened in Rome in April 2025 — a restored 17th-century palazzo steps from the Pantheon, with 93 rooms and suites. Orient Express Venezia opened in Venice in March 2026, a 15th-century palazzo in Cannaregio, with 47 accommodations including six Signature Suites. Both are operated under the Accor and Arsenale Group partnership. Additional properties are in development.
Yes — and this is one of the things Sirena Collective does best. A natural journey: board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express in Paris, arrive in Venice, check into Orient Express Venezia, then join the Orient Express Corinthian for a Mediterranean sailing. We coordinate all three legs with advisor-level access throughout. Contact us to discuss availability and what combination works for your dates.
No. Booking through Sirena Collective costs you nothing extra. Our fees are paid by our travel partners. You receive advisor recognition, pre-arrival communication with the property, and ongoing support throughout your stay — always complimentary.
They are singular historic buildings — a 17th-century Roman palazzo, a 15th-century Venetian palace — restored rather than built, with the DNA of the original 1883 train threaded through every detail. Steamer trunk bedside tables. Rosso Verona marble. The Wagon Bar in both properties — a direct tribute to the golden age of rail. These are not chain hotels. They are places designed for travelers who are not in a hurry.
Genuinely different experiences. La Minerva is larger, more socially animated — the rooftop Gigi Rigolatto is a destination in itself, and the hotel sits in the dense heart of the centro storico. Venezia is more intimate and atmospheric — 47 accommodations in the calmer Cannaregio, arriving by gondola or water taxi. Connecting to the Corinthian for a yacht voyage? Venezia is the natural choice. Exploring Rome slowly for a week? La Minerva is extraordinary. We're happy to talk through both.
The hotels are one chapter. Orient Express also offers the world's most legendary train journeys and the world's largest sailing yacht. Sirena Collective can arrange all three.
